Introduction of picking up personal goods at port of destination
A) Two or three days before arrival of vessel, our companyĄŻs agent at port of destination will inform consignee. As consignee, you should provide correct and available contact way so that we can contact you on weekday. Or you may ask for vessel information before arrival from our local agent according to the information on B/L.
B) If the goods are confirmed to have arrived, then consignee can contact our agent to exchange B/L or pay the charge. The consignee can ask local professional agent to clear the Customs or ask our agent to clear the Customs.
C) Clearing the Customs doesnĄŻt belong to the scope of our shipping, so the charge of this should be paid separately.
D) After the Customs clearance and payment of relative charge, consignee can go to appointed storehouse to pick up goods with D/O.
E) Attention please. Consignee on the Customs passport at port of destination must be the same, as that on B/L. Consignee should prepare exact English list of goods. Documents used to clear the Customs are different at different port, so we take local CustomsĄŻ request as standard.
F) If the goods are to be sent to door, consignee should send our agent necessary documents used to clear the Customs in advance. After clearance of the Customs, our agent will deliver the goods to appointed place. The prepaid freight contains only the charge of carrying goods to door, if you need to move the goods, you should pay the driver additional carrying charge.
